Going down to Paphos airport today and decided to try via Bostanci. Google maps has given me a couple of different routes namely down to Limassol and another coming down further towards Paphos. Has anybody done this route and can give me a bit of help finding the right way.

Guess nobody has ever been to Paphos Mountain Edge, wish I could help but my first trip down there will not be till the 19th of this month. Not sure which way to go either as I fancy the coast route as not in a hurry but will probably come down via Lefcosia/Limassol/Episkopi and then try the get lost route on the coast road back. Not much in it for time and distance but the traffic may be better on the coast and certainly there will be many more places to stop for a drink and the all important "Potty Break" - lol. Hope you had a good trip.

I used the route to get to Polis last year , great road , stunning views, not for the feint of heart but very straight forward . passing the Kokkina Enclave quite thought provoking !
for Paphos this route I would allow 3 - 4 Hours

I've done it now. Crossed at Bostanci and then got kind of lost in the Troodos. Saying kind of because we ended up arriving on the south coast right next to road to the airport, not sure how but who cares. The scenery would have been fantastic but it was very cloudy up top.
We did the coastal route a couple of years and I have to say it is a very scenic and although quite a bit longer, time wise, it was worth it.

The Troodos route sounds kind of good to me but the last time I did a "Cross Troodos" drive was in 72 so I am hoping that the roads are a bit better now. Vivid memory's of the seven sisters in the snow going down with an army 5 ton truck coming the other way - aarrgghhh! Used to do the run up and over on my 250cc motor bike from Akrotiri across to Nicosia as well - much fun on gravel! What was your traffic like please?
