My God!!!! What a legend. Just loved him. Saw him perform a few times and he was just amazing, and such a great bloke. Very sexy and a fantastic voice. I loved listening to him.

I was at college with Erol in the 1960s, he was president of Students Union, I was treasurer. He really was a nice chap, not a mean streak in his body. I can still see him in his first car, a blue Triumph Herald soft-top - the best car in the world according to him at the time. We lost touch after college but I did see him perform live in Folkestone.

Why didn't you just edit your post to correct the mistakes?

(Lester) Errol Brown was a great front-man, saw him at Guildford Civic Hall way back and there were only 15 or so of us in the audience due to very poor promotion of the gig - but they played their full set and an encore and they all made a point of meeting the people who had bothered to turn up... top man.

Each of your posts has an edit button displayed with it....at least mine do so I can't see why yours wouldn't - It couldn't be simpler. In this case it doesn't matter as you say but it's good to know how to achieve it at least then you can correct mistakes rather than apologise for them....

I'll bet you can't see easily because you have the default board style of Hestia Green. It's rubbish because the contrast is not good and loads of Kibkomers don't know they can edit or report posts...

Top tip:- If you go into User Control Panel and change Board Preference, Board Style to 'prosilver' it will become much easier to see the Edit button.
