Arrived to update my Residency about 0825 today Thurs - three people in waiting room.
Picked up ticket No 16 from Registry - Number 7 was showing as being served. I had to wait no more than 10 mins - Nos 8 to 15 seemed to have left the building along with Elvis.
'You're quiet' I said to the chap behind the jump. 'End of the month' he explained. 'No one has any money'.
I was done and dusted by 0855.
So, a nod is as good as a wink......! Renew at the end of the month!!!!

Possibly quicker because more over 60's don't bother we haven't for a couple of years now and guess what no problems so far

Have to say, this was our 8th time and the quickest!
Hubby over 60 was renewing his 2 years and I was doing my yearly renewal (well under 60 )
Guy that was dealing with us was friendly, quick and efficient...and gave me 2 years as well
28 minutes from entering the building and leaving.
