Car insurance at the border

Apologies for asking this question again. Will the insurance office be open this evening at 6pm. for someone crossing from the South side in Greek hire car, to obtain Turkish insurance?

Probably open, however, better option is to get the car hire company to organise the cover. Costs an extra 10 euros, but saves the hassle and concern.

If they have problems, advise them to use Petsas at LCA.

Friends apparently crossed over no problems and Turkish side, insurance booth open until Mid night!
