Astroturf

I need around 80 sq.m of Astroturf. Can anyone recommend a supplier that has a good selection of good quality Astroturf in Girne or Lefkosia?

From Girne, over the mountains to the big roundabout and go left through the first set of traffic lights by the stadium. Look out for the sign for Tasas Motors and keep over to the left and slow down, just a bit past there but well before the next traffic lights there is a small garden centre on your left - he is beside a T Shirt shop that also will print any design you want on any of the T Shirts you buy from him - The place does not look much but he has a large variety of astro turf for sale in there, he also is the outlet for the astro turf used by many of the schools in the area and the vast majority of football pitches as well. Not cheap but high quality. Sorry but I can not remember his name or phone details - once we had found him we never needed them again.

I would go to the Marshall Yapi Market, Alsancak/Lapta. This is opposite the Starling Supermarket close to Riverside Holiday Village, Alsancak.
They had four different type of astroturf in stock when I was last in there and the gentlemen behind the counter are always so helpful and their English is very good.

I have give you two phone numbers for Musa. Phone him and he will visit. He primarily works on government contracts, whenever they need to impress visiting dignitaries,. He wil also take you to numerous domestic contracts he has undertaken.
When laying he installs a membrane , 75 mm of gravel, 50mm felt, then the Astro turf, he also gives a considerable guarantee .
