I don't know what is happening to the weather here in Dipkarpaz. Everyday for the last three weeks it has been warm, but with a barely blue sky, sometimes cloudy but mostly just a grey haze over everything. Is it like this elsewhere?? I don't remember it being like this for such a long period. I checked out the weather forecast on Accuweather and there is said that all the days would be Sunny, well it's not just dull and hazy

Has been very warm here in Catalkoy but always a layer of hazy cloud o er the past couple of weeks. Yesterday again very warm, hazy grey cloud and then rained.....but sun was still shining.

Today we woke up to much clearer sky and no cloud, hopefully this will continue.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain

Unfortunately there is a dust cloud circulating around the eastern mediterranean, which accounts for the haze. The wind is due to increase in the next day or so, which may clear it.

You may wish to look at this weather site. I have found it reasonably accurate and it allows you to enter your own location (via a map)

Thank you topten for the photo of Saltburn, it brought back so many childhood memories of days spent on the beach there.

When I was a little girl my father worked on the railway and he got free passes, so we always went to Saltburn for the day, sometimes every day for his 2 week holidays if the weather was good. With 4 children there wasn't a lot to spend money on at Saltburn. It has a beautiful beach and I recall it had a stream that ran down the beach to the sea, where we would play all day. Happy, Happy days.

The stream is still there and there is still very few slots and the beach is still glorious.
