Has anyone bought and could recommend a vacuum in the north which is good for picking up pet hairs from rugs? The one we brought from UK has just died ad I would prefer to buy one here rather than south.

Thanks

We bought a water filled filter system one make Arcelik Model S7510 and can honestly say it's the best cleaner we've bought. no dust comes through as it's all filtered out in water and is has a built in rotating brush system that picks up dog hairs a treat.

I have a Fakir Emotion hoover that I bought in Hay Pem in Alsancak. It has great suction that you can increase and decrease accordingly and picks up white spikey Pointer hairs without a problem.

I have the water filled system....it is great but so heavy. It does however pick up lots of dog hairs (we have two) and lots of dust and dirt too.....so much so you cannot believe your carpets were so dirty. However, I have just bought a Poundshop TL5 had held clothes brush for picking up hair and fluff on your clothes. Tried it on the carpet..........gob smacked how many hairs were still left......it is a chore but a great way of getting the hair off the carpet.
