Double Identities, and apologies
I do not hesitate to share this. My husband who I adore, is having issues which I think are related to his type 1 diabetes and maybe alzheimers. We share my log in on this site ,and I have just found posts that may have upset some people. Can I please ask admin, is it best to chaange my handle ? not quite sure what to do...

Re: Double Identities, and apologies
My advice would be leave as is.....if a moderator is concerned about a posting they will either delete or contact the person posting. Also kibkomers are able to report postings they believe are not following the forum rules.
Now that we are aware we can keep a look out and monitor what is being posted under your username. If we have any concerns we can either send you a private mail or an email direct to your email address.
If you believe a posting made by your other half contravenes forum rules or could possibly be upsetting please make contact and we will do all we can to help.

Re: Double Identities, and apologies
I am very sorry to hear of your problems , surfmeets east, I had a close relative with Alzheimer's and I know how stressful and distressing it can be.
If it is any comfort I have not noticed any posts under that name that worried me, but I dont read all posts. I and I think most peple who read your post will understand and make suitable allowances.
I can, however, see that you might feel more comfortable with a separate identity or password: sorry I am not sufficiently technical myself to help but it might be worth sending a pm to Soner or one of the Mods in case they missed your post and I am sure they would help you set something up..

Thank you for your kind words RR, I nursed my own Mum who had alzheimers and its horrid. Hubby is a smashing intellligent and funny person, if a bit eccentric, and I really think it may be down to mood swings which are common withtype 1 diabetes. I cannot persuade him to have any tests yet, just trying to keep him off the computer!!!!!!!!
