Insufficient data...Insufficient data...Insufficient data...Insufficient data...Insufficient data...

What email provider do you use? (The bit after the '@' character in your email address) - Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc, etc.

What operating system is on your Laptop? - Windows? - and if so, Windows XP, 7, 8, or what?

Do you use Webmail (where you use Internet Explorer / Chrome/ Firefox / Opera or some other 'Browser' to view your email), or do you use Outlook / Outlook Express, or perhaps some other 'email client'?

Describe in simple terms what you do, what the screen looks like, and what happens.

If I don't know what is causing your problem, then at least the above info might prompt someone else to have a guess

Just realised who you are! Hi how are you two?

I'm not brilliant with computers but do manage to sort stuff like this at work.

Start with simple things...........

Click Start (bottom left of screen)

Click Control Panel

Click Internet Options

Click Security

Click sites - delete anything that says live.com......outlook............msn.com..........or anything similar.

Close your browser.

Reopen browser and try logging into https://login.live.com/

If that don't work we can try system restore

It will probably be a chrome add-on then.

Could be anyone of many causing the conflict but the most common one is skype. Try uninstalling skype** then logging into your emails. You can re-install skype after.

If that don't work - I'm back out there in Sept!!!! - sorry

**
start
control panel
programs
right click skype and click uninstall

Just as an after thought - when the list of programs comes up - see if there has been one installed over the last 3 or 4 days - this may have caused the conflict. Uninstall it.
