Lampshades

Looking for shops selling lampshades for bed-side table lights. Recommendations please - preferably around Girne area. Thank you

If you find any cream ones please let me know, as I have been looking for months both in the north and south. It would appear that
the locals like any colour but cream.

I have yet to find any decent lampshades in the North. Ikea have a good basic selection but if you want nice quality (i.e. expensive) shades then Laura Ashley have lovely ones.

There is(or was!) a lighting shop about half way down tinpan alley off the high st that I have bought table lamps and shades from in the past.

Burhan either in Girne near the Ship Inn or the huge warehouse in Lefkosa. The most fabulous shop in the North!

There is a shop in Karakum between the frozen yogurt restaurant and the Grubberie, just along from Al Shaheen. If they don't have what you want in the shop they will make one for you. I recently had a large cream one made for a table lamp having tried everywhere in the North and the South and came across this shop by chance.

Eltrakur in Girne have two floors of lampshades and light fittings You have to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs though!
