Superb meal last night with the family at the Mandarin.

We had a mix of food between us.

Excellent service, price, quality.

A must for all, and looking forward to the roof bar hopefully opening when the weather gets better.
The wife keeps complaining I never listen to a word she says ............. or something like that.

Could you give an idea of prices? Please

From memory (I don't do bills I am afraid) so may be a little adrift:

Full duck - 110
Baby squid tempura (8) - 13
Veg tempura (10) - 12
Penang Chicken curry - 26
Chicken in black bean sauce - 26
Steamed rice (lots) - 6
F/rice (lots) - 10
Pad Thai noodles (far too many even for 2!!) 24

To be honest, it's probably cheaper to eat in than visiting takeaways, in nice surrounding, in my opinion (which counts for little) one of the best restaurant buildings in the area.

Was also warm!

Well worth picking up a takeaway menu (prices same as sit down I think) when passing nearby.

Have eaten at Mandarin and it was excellent.

I am a boring ole fart and love sweet and sour chicken, it wasn't on menu last time I was over but coming at the weekend and will be eating there.

We have sweet and sour crunchy belly pork, please ask the waitress to change the pork for chicken, sweet n sour chicken, but we do not put the chicken in batter as it goes soggy in the sweet n sour sauce !

Glad that you enjoyed your meal
