Hi Groucho at the moment we have Gnocchi with a roasted butternut squash and sage butter or Mushroom and Tarragon Risotto. Everything is made to order, so if there is something in particular you'd prefer just let us know.

Re: New menu from Monday 27th August
Hi, I have heard rumours that the restaurant is 'split between two bosses' and that it is not possible to eat in the garden.
Apparently a couple of people left because the choice was either eat inside or on the balcony under the scrutiny of passersby and in very close proximity to passing traffic, petrol fumes etc.
Another 'gripe' was, if customers do choose to eat inside and order wine with their meal and wish to sit in the garden to drink the remainder of the wine, this is not allowed, 'unless drink is bought from the garden bar it can not be drunk in the garden'.
Their is also a rumour that the Chef has left.
I know how rumours can ruin a business by putting off potential customers and it is for this reason that I am informing you of what has been said.

Re: New menu from Monday 27th August
Hi Blue Butterfly, thank you for your post. There have been mistakes made by ourselves on a split basis, ie restaurant upstairs and bar downstairs but this is now changed. You are able to eat either upstairs or down and if you choose to have wine from the restaurant but would like to finish it off in our garden this is also not a problem, this matter should never of happened.
The chef (Terry Baker) has moved on, he handed in his notice a couple of weeks and will be setting up a new venture at the Old Mill... We have a fab new chef who has worked in France, Dubai and the Uk. He is young, enthusatic and if you are a little late for your sitting he won't kick up a fuss.
We hope that you will come and see the changes that are being made and I hope I have clarified a few of the rumours you have heard. If you have any more queries please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
