Have you been refused one yourself then? Usually no-one has any problems.

Get your own you tight sod. I did and many others have. Pay your way. Its not big money and you of course could offer the service to your friendd if you have any.

The poster says he is willing to pay the cost towards the box. So he would be paying his way. Perhaps waiting for an answer to Sophie's question might have been polite before going for the jugular

The box in the South I think was 27 Euros when I renewed for a year in January, quite a bit if you do not get much post or only at certain times of the year, and then in my case it is Engomi just over the Metahan Border. I would be happy to share my box with someone providing they too would be prepared to pay the car insurance to go over and check it. Sometimes things do not arrive when you expect them too. It would be good to find someone else who has a box in Engomi so as we could check one another's boxes save wasted trips. I have 2 keys.

http://www.mcw.gov.cy/mcw/postal/dps.ns ... eRow=1.2#1.
I use the Post Office at the top end of Ledra St.
Should the parcel be too large or over 2kg they are sent to the main post office in Nicosia.
Best way to get there is a 119 bus from the bus station up the road, 1.5 Euros each way, the bus stop is right outside, just show the pink slip from the post office to the driver and they will help you, saves on driving, finding the place and parking.
Trust this helps.
Send me an email.

If you plan on driving over via the Metehan Border then there is a post office close 'ish! Maybe you can find someone to share with you.
Drive down to the traffic lights at the T Junction (you will see the Coco Cola sign over on your right)
Turn left at these lights then right just before the pedestrian crossing, the post office is about 100 metres up on the right hand side.

Quite a lot of people from this side use PO as described by Scooby because it's so close to "home" as it were.
