I think you will find that it's the small battery on your laptop motherboard that needs changing. If you put in replacing your CMOS battery into Youtube, you will see lots of videos on how to do it, including you could also add the make of your laptop in the search. It's a simple replacement. Alternatively, take your laptop to a computer shop like Laconic who can do it for you.

How old is your laptop? The date/time problem is often a symptom of the CMOS battery wearing out - in desktops, this is a small round, easily replaceable battery, but very difficult in laptops. I had an AST Premium Exec 386SX/20 laptop (vintage 1991), which after 18-20 years displayed the same problem - fortunately, being so old it was fairly simple to "fix" a new battery, which cured it. Sadly, other things started failing, so after another couple of years, it finally expired completely.
As to the freezing; this may be down to the same, but if you run a virus check, instal and run ccleaner and malwarebytes, these will clear out any surplus rubbish and unnecessary files that may be clogging up your laptop.
Try these first and see if they help.
