Are there restrictions on mains water by the Beledyere at the moment in Bellapais area?
There is credit on the meter but nothing coming through.

Yes the water was off at the weekend - which we did not realise and ended up with an empty tank! Came back on, on Monday but possibly something to do with the pipe laying coming up the main road to the village. Speak to Emina in the Village Muhtars office.

Hi Silverfox,
There are no restrictions but they do cut us off now and again but its rare. Mine was cut off yesterday evening. Just remember they have a limit on usage and if you go past this limit then each tonne of water is more expensive. They have a few tiers each one going up more as you use more water. Apparently it does not matter whether you live on your own or a family of four the limits are still the same which I said were ridiculous but thats how they work.

We come under Bellapais and the water has been off every morning now for several weeks. It tends to get turned on mid afternoon.

If you read CT a few weeks back we were all warned the water will be rationed, I guess this is the problem in Bellapais
