Pet Sitter Required Please!!

Hi all,

I am looking for a pet sitter for my lot. it would be occasional sitting for day/evening, and every once in a while, overnight. I have met one lovely lady that can do it, but would like to have a second option, so that when one is busy I can have a backup.

I have 5 dogs of various sizes (all mutts, and all rescues); very people friendly and child friendly - though some are not friendly with dogs outside my pack.

I have 30+ adult cats that I feed, and currently fostering 20+ kittens, though the number will decrease when they they are returned to the various organizations and people for whom I am fostering.

The cats and the dogs get along well, so it's mostly to keep the food and water bowls full, litter trays empty (and as cute as kittens are, they can fill and stink up a litter tray at an alarming rate ); take the dogs out to my yard for a little play time and toilet (though must be supervised and two on leads bc otherwise they plan their great escape) and generally supervise the dogs and cats. There are further details that I won't bore the general public with, but can provide to whomever can watch them (this include who does not get along with who, and which ones get vitamin and milk supplements and antibiotics).

You might get one or two replies if people knew where your menagerie is housed. Heavens above, I love animals but I'm not sure I could cope with 30 cats (I assume they are street cats) and as for 20 fostered kittens, the mind boggles. You have my admiration for such fortitude. I find my 4 dogs enough.

you wouldnt know where i could get a siamese or persian cat that someone wants to give for free do u maybe?

Sophie: good idea, i am past catalkoy, approximately 5 minute drive from the acapulco turnoff. and thanks! i'd be lying if i said that they don't test my patience at times but i love them all. the 30 adults are street cats, but they come in at their leisure and get along with my dogs, so during the winter they have a warm place to stay should they want. i usually take ones that are in need of medical assistance, medication, or generally not well and bring them back to health. i also foster the ones that are too young to take care of themselves or need to be separated until they have their vaccinations, so it's a bit of work, but it's become by full-time job!
