Re: Kaleburnu caves
From the Bradt North Cyprus Guide:
The Karpas Peninsula -
Just beyond the Ziyamet is a crossroads, where fork right to Gelincik will take you, after just a couple of kilometres, to the monastery church of Kanakaria. This fork continues all the way to Kale Burnu, but the track marked on most maps between Kurunova and Sipahi is terrible and any idea you may have of a shortcut to Sipahi should be abandoned.
Hope that helps,
Mrs G

It was probably my picture. I will try and get a map on here
If you call me, Eva, my husband can get you directions. They are not easy to find. We had help from a friend's sister, who lives there. We live in Dipkarpaz. You could come here and have a coffee with us and we could take you there, also show you the little museum in Kaleburnu. The roads are fine.

That's fine, no hurry.
If you find yourself there, look for a house with a spectacular cactus garden on the east side of the village, some way up the hill, the turning is somewhere there, ask somebody.
