Peace & Freedom Day - Kyrenia Airshow

In my experience the airshow has always been on the 20th in Kyrenia. However KP Daily News and the Turkish Stars facebook page say it is on the 19th in Kyrenia and 20th in Nicosia. Can anyone confirm categorically which day it is on?

Can't help you with that, except that it's always been the 20th, Monday the 20th is a Bayram, as is Friday - so long weekend. The reason I'm posting is that the weather forecast for Monday is very hot!!! Over 40 degs C in Girne!!!!

The Air Show is on Sunday approx. 1600hrs and the Parade on Monday starts approx. 1100hrs.
This is info from the Civil Defence.

Air show displays on Sunday 19th July ahead of Peace and Freedom day
The 41st anniversary of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day is being celebrated with ‘air shows’ on Sunday 19 July.

The air show will kick off in front of the Ataturk Monument in Kyrenia at 1800. Within the framework of the programme, the gyrocopter will begin their show at 1800, followed by the Solo Turk at 1815 and the Turkish Stars at 1840.

Says on the turkish stars schedule for 2015 that it's 20-21 July.its very confusing

From SoloTurk and Turkish Stars facebook page - they will have a practice Saturday at 18.00-19.00, Sunday the 19th 18.00 Gyrocopter show, 18.30 Turkish Stars followed by SoloTurk.
