help needed with cadge dogs.

Im wondering if anyone could offer some advice. We live in Catalkoy Village and are having some problems. One of our neighbours has and concentrate hut full of dogs. There poor dogs are never let out. Now the weather is hot the smell is unbareable and the noise is ridiculous. We have 2 small children none of whom are sleeping because of the noise. This is the 5th night in a row that they have been woken up by all the barking and howling. I am an animal lover and my heart gose out to there poor dogs but this situation is hell.

if anyone can offer any advise we would appreciate it, thank u.

KAR cannot help as they have owners, so you will have to contact your local Muhtar, and see if he will help you.

we had the same problem with a neighbour who also had several dogs keep caged up all day one of them did nothing but whine and yap all day long, we went and complained to the beledaysi about it, the owner now lets then roam free, the dogs and his neighbours are now a lot happier

Go and see the local police in the center of Catalkoy, report the problem to them and they will take action on it for you. Their office is on the corner opposite the butcher/coffee shop and in front of the car park. Nice guys and very helpful. Remember to add the words "Tagged" and "Registered" as they are also the police who maintain the records of dogs.

Agree report it to the police - it needs to be checked out they could be breeding the dogs...no life for them

Went and reported them to police, but nothing seems to have been done. Getting worse really, poor things.

Please go back to the police and tell them the situation is worse and ask again for them to investigate.

Please, please, please, keep plaguing the police - once is not enough. They will only do something if you are prepared to make a complete and total nuisance of yourself. This is the case unfortunately.

I also said to post on Hope4Pets on facebook as they may be able to support you in pushing this and talking to owner etc.

It has to be dealt with....never ignore

We live in Catalkoy also!
Where abouts in the Village are you?
The Mayor of Catalkoy may be able to do something about this and we have always found him to be very understanding with problems of various sorts!

Hi hs.mummy ... it is hard to not try and cause a fuss but think of the poor dogs - Bigbadbob has reached out and tried to offer help - please don't give up and try and help these dogs, please use the support that has been offered

Will the OP please respond, you have asked for help on this forum and you have been offered help by BBB who is known for his love of animals and the work he has done to rescue, not to mention the advice you have been given.

If you are not prepared to act on behalf of these poor animals then at least let people who will help know where they are!!!

Just got back on line after having many problems yesterday.
Your address means nothing to me so maybe it is the same for other people who may and can help.
Where are you near?
Is there something close to you that will act as a marker - a landmark?

We are not to far from the coffee square and about 5 mins walk from the sea angle bar. Not to good with places as we have not lived in the village for long.

You must be very close to the Muhtar's offices then?
Also a few minutes away from the Belediyesi offices.
Have you been in there and made a complaint - do you want us or anyone to come with you?
We could meet up with you lunchtime or in fact BBB is going in to the offices earlier this morning to register our 'Hooligans'.
Catalkoy Belediyesi have their own FB page and are proud of their village and we think do a good job. We don't think they would not listen to a genuine case of cruelty! They would not want it happening!

Do you think the OP is perhaps a bit embarrassed or even frightened by the amount of interest and concern the thread has generated. Personally I would be delighted if people were offering to help me. Just a thought. I certainly hope that gillybean123 is wrong and that it's not a wind up. Having said that, if it is a wind up and there are no dogs in those awful conditions, then great. hs.mummy please come clean and be up front so people can either help or stop worrying. If it is a wind up, then you will have lost all credibility on the Forum. (at least I suspect that will be the reaction)

Sorry, my internet has been down for a few days and we have been away for my birthday. back last night and the dogs have been howling all night. we are going back to see the police tomorrow and are going to look on the facebook page. We are also going to talk to our landlord as i am hoping they might be able to help too. Thank you all for youir help and support

Did you see the response from BBB that should also talk to the Muhtar and in the Belediyesi. The offices are close together.

I lnow this is very emotive, but I think from reading Jacob.s posts thathe is a true animal lover. Hs mummy is also caring I think but maybe too stressed to cope
Please peopletryto be nice, I know what it is like, 7 dogs and too many cats and trying to take in all the cruelty and moneymaking "ooops" who breed dogs in terrible conditions to sell is leading me to a big nervous breakdown, andmay be the same for her I despair

Surfmeetseast - I don't disagree with your comments but in this scenario you ask for help and normally you would then accept help - and if you wish you can stay unknown.

Yes that fact it was raised in the first place is good - but now it is terrible for us who are reading this every day and the situation is on going and not resolved

Hence people are now very frustrated.

We are no closer to helping these dogs which is what the post was about

Jlargo exactly, the first post was middle July , we are 3 weeks on and clearly these dogs are still suffering, he mummy is clearly not as stressed as she has made most of us.

Feel helpless and sad for those dogs as we don't really know their exact location, cant believe we have just not have the information we required.

Google Lozan Sokak Catalkoy I have and there are maps on there showing the street where hs.mummy lives and ask around. I don't live there or I would help.
