Where are you flying from, just booked Dublin --Ercan, £232 return in september with Turkish Airlines.
At the same time booked Belfast--Exeter £196 return with Flybe, which makes our Cyprus flights dirt cheap by comparison.

Ozonkoyboy - You are quite right with your posting.

However, if the 'authorities' would allow amateur performers ['Open Mic.] to perform in public, without having to be obliged to have a host, who is a paid up member of 'Allstars' entertainment agency, the only agency, then bars and pubs could provide, what has proved to be very popular entertainment, despite what some may say on this forum, with only their mandatory music licence. Also, since perhaps a dozen, or so, of us amateurs, who don't expect even a 'freebie' beer, could provide a variety of popular music with different instruments and styles, consequently there would be a reasonable profit for their 'host venue'.

Regrettably, the 'authorities' can't seem to comprehend this; plus the fact that increased profit made by the bars/pubs means a higher tax-take for the government.

People should know that all the regular contributors to 'Open Mic.' are over retirement age, except for a few tourists and 'swallows' who, occasionally, 'get up and have a go'.
