White paper 'Visas' still in use!

It would appear that at Ercan Airport, they still use the old white paper visas. I had told my visiting relatives that they would not need them, so they did not have one pre-prepared, and promptly got their passports stamped instead!

I could have told you that!

The announcement was that they were no longer needed when crossing the 'Green Line'. It was a move supposedly intended to reduce tensions between North and South.

They do seem to have a new version in use at Ercan though.

You dont "need" one you never did they were an option "not" to have TRNC stamped in your passport, s
this remains the same.
