Not only is the night a great place to catch on some fab musicians but we are also raising money each week for the Friends of The TRNC Emergency Services.

Ever since Vicki & Unal regained and host 'Open Mic.', held every Saturday night, the 'Black Olive' has been chocker full - that should say something about this great event!

Amongst many talented players, no doubt that Kiwi joker will be performing more of his funny takes [own composition] on the well-known pop classics!

Last week, one he did was: 'A Six Pack Of EFES Standing On The Wall' to the tune of 'Ten Green Bottles........'!

We raised another 320tl last week so over the past week weeks its close to 1000tl thank you all for your support and hope to see you again this coming Saturday 29th Aug from 7.30

That little bird told me that, this coming Saturday evening, the 'Kiwi Joker' will be doing, amongst other popular numbers, including a Benny Hill 'funny', another hilarious song entitled: 'Amazing Grass'!

Surely to goodness, didn't the little bird mean 'Amazing Grace'? Well, this must mean that the lyrics of the original 'Amazing Grace' have been more than slightly changed to inject a whole lot of humour into this universally popular, timeless classic song! This is outrageous - you'd better brace yourselves for a good, old, hearty belly-laugh!

Well, what an epic night Saturday night turned out to be!

Ed's new act with Nick was an unexpected surprise bonus, and having Clive back added a really professional touch to the music.

To add to it all, the audience was impressively larger than usual, most who were also dining - the word is obviously spreading about Vicki & Unal's delicious food - the helpings are enormous!

Don't forget - next Saturday evening, 12th September, from 7.30pm to 11.00, the 'Black Olive' is definitely the place to be for the best value night out!

Brilliant Night is the only way I can describe the "Open Mic Night" at the Black Olive, good atmosphere, good food, good music.........................and great company...............thank you Unal and Vicki............loved every minute xxx

Little bird: 'Yeah, but get this - the 'Kiwi Joker' has 'The Potato Song' lined up - it'll have everyone in stitches! ---------Tweet-tweet---------and he's doing HIS version of that Australian classic: 'Pub With No Beer', but tells me he hasn't quite finished it, so will need some suggestions from the audience, who can, if they want, get up and sing their suggestion - if they don't want, he will sing it for them.'

As everyone knows, the 'Black Olive' has THE most reasonable booze prices and never runs out of beer - their superb, delicious food is now a legend!
