Does any one know if the money exchange Karakum is open today please.

I doubt it many places stay closed 1st day of Bayram, the exchanges down the high street in town may be open for tourists.

4.5 an hour ago in town , expected them to drop but not that much !

B/belle if you didn't want to travel into town, park etc, I believe the Supreme supermarket will exchange currency for you, at least they used to. Don't believe the exchange rate varied greatly maybe a few lira.

4.5 that is almost UK exchange rates - not funny when XE.COM is stating it at 4.67!

The exchange offices in harbor area work on bayram. If you are in a rush, you can go and exchange there.

You cannot expect them to work the equivalent of Christmas day and not get a little extra, imagine if it were the Tube drivers you were asking to work, what a fuss there would be! Enough to give a union leader a heart attack!
