What ıs safe to burn?

We have been doing some pruning in the garden and have some tree limbs etc that look good for burning in our wood burner. I know oleander is not safe to use because of poisonous fumes, but what about bougainvillea?

I've burnt bougainvillea before but only after letting all the branches go tinder dry
