I have often wished people would refrain from "teaser" subject to waste time reading about something that doesnt interest me, but the latest really caught me out!

Is it just me or did anyone else suffer a moment of shock and alarm when checking "unread posts" to see a headline "Animal Shelter to be built" followed by "Wolves for Sale". and had to read the latter to find out how much worse the stray problem could get? Surely at least there could have been quotation marks round "Wolves" and should it not have been put in "Sport" not "Sales" - or are other posters wealthy enough to buy football clubs?

ragged robin. Get a grip. Wolves for sale, posted by wanderer. Pretty obvious to me and at least it wasn't in the general section of the forum. There is no pleasing some folk!

sorry, I don't usually agree with rr's posts, but this time I do.
My thing is the help needed ones.... open them and it's about unwanted dogs, puppies etc.. I so understand animal lovers, but when it comes to a child, that's my thing...state your subject as to whom the help is needed.
Don't live in the past, make new memories every day,

Well it was my intention to get a laugh (or at least a rise) - seems I got both!

But flower fairy raises a serious point, and for once I agree with her! If you are asking for help, specify what and who for in the heading: otherwise there is a risk that people who might be able to help may skip the post thinking its another doggy appeal etc.. Better if there is a serious emergency to get one post from someone who is in a position to help than half a dozen sympathising and saying why they cant help!,

I agree that heading could be a lot clearer than they are.
