BRS Supper by the Sea

The popular gathering at the Deniz Kizi Beach Bar of the BRS, at their Supper by the Sea, will be on September 14th, 7.45 for 8.15 - smart casual.
As the venues were closed til yesterday tickets had not been available til then - but they will be available at the Hut and Lambousa again next Saturday which will be the last time to purchase them at 45tl for members and 50tl for non-members, there will be a vegetarian option main course.
Please buy your tickets and come and enjoy a peaceful evening by the sea, with music by Gitano.

Please can you advise if it is easy to get to this venue without a car and five directions

The Deniz Kizi hotel is down a short road on the right, almost opposite Starling on the left, in Alsancak, as you come from Girne. Coming from further west it is of course on the left as you come through, again, Starling on your right. Early in the evening, of course there would be dolmas coming along main road who would drop you off, unfortunately by midnight all finished! Need a taxi, which i agree, is expensive at that time of night.

Reminder to everyone - tickets on sale at Lambousa and the Hut on Saturday 8th - if you miss that you may have to recourse to begging the Dep chairman to put you on a pay at the door list with ther promise of heavies attacking your door, if you dont turn up!! We have to pay for meals ordered, not meals eaten!! BRS are talking about opening the Hut during the week for late sales, maybe Tues or Wed. If insufficient tickets are sold it may be cancelled - which seems an impossible situation as it is usually very popular.

Update on above - the Hut will be open for ticket sales only, on Wednesday morning, 12th from 10 - 12pm if there are any last minutes "buyers" out there. this is due to being informed than there seemed to be a return of swallows and holiday makers over the weekend who wouldnt be in the country on Sat to get their tickets! So, please go along and get yours.

Where and what is The Hut please

Sorry, how silly of us to assume everyone knows. Of course they don't . It is a 'hut' which the BRS use, behind the Post Office in Kyrenia. go down the small alley between post office and the gov buildings and in front is the Library and the 'hut'. Hope that helps.

sorry I missed this one. there is a last chance on Wednesday of this week at The Hut. 10a.m. to noon, i think!

Ticket sales are fine - but the Hut behind the PO will still be open on Wed for any last minute buyers - it will open at 10am and close at noon - and "thats your lot, folks!"
