Lambousa Market at the Chateau Lambousa in Lapta has been running for close to 10 years.

There are approximately 100 stalls selling arts, crafts, clothes, handicrafts, jewellery, cards, music and films, books, baked goods, artisan breads and much more.

Coming from Kyrenia pass through the Lapta Hotel Strip and take the Left Turn opposite the Cabin Restaurant. Then take the next Left Turn to the Chateau Lambousa.

Disabled facilities are available and there is ramp-access throughout.

If you are on the East there is an outside market at Lemar Catalkoy. It is situated in the carpark so no problem for those with mobility limitations and there are toilets in the Lemar store.

The market at Lemar Catalkoy does not appear to operate any longer. Any information about what has happened?

The market at Catalkoy Lemar is very much still going. The stalls have been moved onto the same side as the children's play park. Please come and have a look; there are lots of craft things on sale including lovely paintings, hand made cards, a taste of English cakes and pastry's, soft furnishings (made to order too, if required), beautiful ceramic tiles, second hand books, selections of clothes, jewellery and make-up, all sorts of plants and traditional Turkish Cypriot wares. The market is every Saturday around 9am to 2pm, but some stalls are earlier and some stay later. Please support these local craft stalls. Lemar Catalkoy also has a Wednesday market same timings but some different stalls.
