Microsoft Termination request is this genuine?
I have received an email from Microsoft Security saying they have received a request to terminate my account unless I cancel it. Is this genuine is it phishing?

If you do a search on
'email from Microsoft Security saying they have received a request to terminate my account '
You will probably find this is a 'phising' email

It seems to be a Phishing scam.
The same email has emanated from a variety of (alleged) sources.
I would just delete it.

Whenever you get these doubtful mails just hover the pointer over the 'click' option in the message. This will display the address you would be sent to if you do click - usually enough to reveal the scam as you can be sure it won't be Microsoft.
