NTV - Wrong time/date (cannot access playback) - help please

Hi
My NTV is displaying the date as Jan 1st 2000 - nil impact on current / live viewing but this means I am unable to access previously aired programmes.

I have left a message with NTV for assistance (but guess won't be there Sunday).

Is there someone out there with a simple fix (and I've already tried the turn off / on / re-boot routine).

We have the same problem. Have tried to contact NTV helpline by ntv.mx but keep getting a message that this is unobtainable. Any ideas how to contact NTV for support.

You can contact NTV support via email at info@ntv.mx or using their 'live chat' system near the top right of the ntv.mx website (I just tried it myself and seemed to get through to a support person within a minute). However a solution to this specific problem is there in the link I posted earlier in the thread (message 2 in the thread)

It doesn't actually work though Erol. I typed the code into the server section and then re booted the box and i still have 1st Jan 2000 as the date and 6am as the time.

Sorry I had made an error - have corrected it now - instructions should work now. Please let us know if they do (or do not). I had said 0.pool.europe.ntp.org when I should have said 0.europe.pool.ntp.org

Hi Erol, just put the other code in and i still have 1st jan 2000 as the date but now the time reads 2 am. The tv system is working fine so not too much of a problem but it would be good to have the time working.

My date has always read 5 January 2000 but it's never stopped me getting catchup. Never looked at date or time on tv. So Rocking ok.

Hi Erol, tried the new code again today and all is ok. Last night i only deleted the other code until i got to the zero, so maybe the box did not recognise it as a full new code?
Anyway all is well now, it's great having this kind of advice on the forum for all us oldies.

Just a footnote for Erol. Put in the original code and " at present " NTV working ok.
