BBC British but cautious.
Is it me or is because I Have lived overseas for so long that my faith in the BBC world channel news has become somewhat sceptical. I find that the news channel CNN has better world coverage and this includes sports and especially the weather channel.
BBC worldwide news presenters are lethargic.tired and Sally Bundock only seems to work 3 days a week.
I even watch Al Jazerra before tuning into our National institution.

No its not you - you have come to understand that the BBC is not all it is made out to be, that is all. Best to "Surf" the different news providers but you will only be happy with the news you prefer in the long run - human nature. Just enjoy it all.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Once sent them a "Tweet", as they had tens of thousands of demonstrators (Against the Israel War, 2014) walking past their Regent Street office, and it was being reported by just about every media outlet except them.
I think they have to change their name to British Biased Corp .... Ps How much is a TV license these days?

Agree with all above posts, gave up years ago, left wing bias. So many other channels give comprehensive news. When you look at all the director generals of this corporation, gives you some idea.

I like Sky News, they usually have 'breaking news' on well before the BBC and their newsreaders seem more down to earth than the Beeb. The paper reviews are hilarious when Andrew Pierce and Kevin McGuire are on together Monday night, very irreverent and tongue in cheek, not the sort of thing the BBC would allow. My husband likes All Jazeera and CNN and sometimes we do watch Euronews although of course it is always biased towards the EU.

The BBC get a lot of its funding from the Television Licence. The amount they can charge for the Licence is set by the British Government. 'nuff said?
