Re: Bloodbath in PARIS
The people who died in this atrocity are innocent, just as many of the refugees (dubbed scroungers on this forum) are innocent. Fleeing and dying because of the barbarous acts of ISIS and civil war.
RIP Thoughts and prayers.

It's difficult for us to comprehend where they think they are going with this... they seem determined to enrage all of the world's major powers and heaven knows where it will end up - but one thing I am sure of, an Islamic Caliphate ain't it..
When the rest of of world, USA, Europe and Russia start to agree watch out would-be fundamentalists - a flak jacket will provide no protection worth a jot.
Step one - no oil should be bought from any country supporting this terrorism - that will concentrate their minds (They know who they are)

These people who kill innocent people are just cowards. They wont even show their faces. What God would condone raping and slaughtering little children and woman. . . Beheading those charity workers who are there to help the people.
The real Muslim people are peace loving people.

I am appalled by what has happened in Paris however, not once have i see the cities of the world light up for palestine, for syria and for iraq for Northen Ireland, and others touched by terrorism. Terrorism touches everybody, please do not devalue human life elsewhere! The major governments of the world should be ashamed of themselves and do something about this ISIS lot instead of lighting up their national monuments. It would nearly make you think there was something more sinister going on behind the scenes.

I agree with you PapaSquidge, which is why I haven't followed the current FB trend to put the tricoleur on my profile picture. We should remember all victims of terrorism throughout the world. 43 people were killed in a suicide bombing in Beirut but it was overshadowed by the events in Paris, where are the outpourings of grief for those victims?

I also have the deepest sympathy for the victims in this latest abhorrent atrocity - but I also agree with message 9 and 11.
I also note the (to me) self-aggrandising act of so many Facebook users of "branding" their personal page in the tricolor - why did they not demonstrate to the world a similar concern for Alan Henning, James Foley, Steven Sotloff, David Haines and Peter Kassig, just to mention five? Sadly, I feel it's just following the latest insincere, fashionable craze....
