Bought one last year on Greek side. Bought from Mega Electrics - it's an Italian one but seems pretty good quality. Sorry, can't remember the price.

Crossing the border at Metehan, turn right and go through to the traffic lights near the Coca Cola place, turn right, straight across the 'rings' roundabout. Keep going until you pass the the huge church and turn left immediately after. Go across 2 sets of traffic lights and several roundabouts then make a left at the second set of lights - this is where Orphanides used to be on the right. Mega Electric is on the right hand side of the road about half a mile along. They do have other branches but this is the one that I know.

Re: Double Electric Blanket
I know you can buy them up here for virtually peanuts, but I do think it pays to spend a bit more on something electrical that you are going to be laying on. We bought a terrific one from Debenhams last year, it has dual controls and lovely sheepskin stuff to lie on. There was large and extra large to choose from and it was made in Italy. Can't remember the price but it didn't break the bank, but not cheap either.
