residence renewal OVER 60

our renewal is due in January, and when we did it last time we did the police station ETC way, BUT when we got our renewal stamp at the Nicosia office we got 2 years and was told by the man next time you just come direct to here ( Nicosia) for your next renewal, we are over 60 years, BUT things change over 2 years, what is the correct way now, and hopefully it is direct to the Nicosia office and if so what paperwork do we take IF not that way what is the current needs and where to go for over 60 years old (both of us )

I did mine 3 weeks ago.

Go to Lefkosa where you went previously and go into the office where they issue the residency and take a number from the counter. When your number comes up go to the indicated window and present your papers and ask for 2 years please. You will need:-

- passport and photocopy of both id page and previous residency stamp
- Muktah letter and photocopy
- copy of rental contract or Kochan
- 10.5tl stamp (obtainable from cafe as are those for Muktah letter if unstamped)
- little blue or pink ID book
- bank statement (or proof of income) and copy
