Christmas Day Morning Swim at Shayna Beach Club.

We are pleased to be able to announce that we are one of three being helped on Christmas Day morning by some very generous people who are taking part in a sponsored swim and braving the sea at Shayna Beach Club , Catalkoy.
It will be a fun morning and by supporting this event you will be helping not only us but KAR and the Children of the Special Needs School, Karakum.
The brave men and women are taking to the water at 10.00am and afterwards breakfast is available.

Ouch - such bravery! Will it be possible for the less active to watch from the "deck " at the top (I have problems with their steps)

Will the breakfast be a standard, and is it English or Turkish? And will the Restaurant be open be open for other things - eg coffee and cakes or indeed lunch?

In case I dont make it, congratulations and good luck to all the competitors

In answer to Ragged Robins' queries I can honestly say that although I was in a plaster cast from thigh to toes last year, I supported the Charity swim at Shayna Beach and had a birds eye view from the decking up top and was able to see all the 'fun and frolics' taking place.
As for the breakfasts I think there will be a choice so it is up to you, whatever you fancy.
Hope as many as you can go down and give your support. It will be a laugh and a good start to a 'Merry' Christmas Day
