Laundrette near Yesiltepe

Does anyone know if there is a good laundrette near Yesiltepe, perhaps in Alsancak?

Presumably it would also have tumble dryers, though I have not seen one in a private home there. Thinking about sheets, towels, etc.

Many thanks.

Do you mean what I mean i.e. somewhere where you sit and DIY, or do you mean a where they do it all for you? If you mean the former I've never seen one anywhere. Loads of small laundries who wash, dry and iron for you and not expensive either. I believe the nearest to Yesiltepe is next door but one to the DVD shop and Exchange. BTW you can buy dryers here.

Everyone looked at me as tho I was mad when I said I wanted a tumble dryer instead of a dishwasher when we moved here... its a godsend in the winter wouldn't be without it

I meant the DIY kind, but a service laundrette would work also. Thanks for the info.

To Rosie: I quite agree. I keep asking people how they dry sheets/towels in the winter. They just say they 'wait for a warm day' and hang them outside! Sodden king-sized sheets? Bath towels, saturated, straight out of the washing machine? I may just buy my own tumble dryer (condenser) for my rental house and let people think I'm crazy.

Nothing crazy about that folks. I had a tumble dryer when I lived there. Really great in Winter!

I brought my tumble dryer with me from the UK and glad I did. Don't use that often but great for airing clothes that have not been fully dried outside in the winter and for the occasional wet day washing.
