new cinema karaglanalou
I know it been praised before but just wanted to say how fantastic this place is. As for the new star wars movie, not impressed. Same old plot as before with just better special effects in 3d.

My sight is such that I cannot benefit from 3D, nor can I solve problems such as a load of dots and pick out the hidden rabbit or whatever. Does that mean I can only watch certain films at Stardust?
Re: new cinema karaglanalou
For what it's worth, I can't see 3D either. One eye stronger than the other. I'm not surprised that 3D TV's haven't really caught on either. As for Star Wars (in 2D of course), I enjoyed it. Pure nonsense escapism, bit like the TRNC!

Re: new cinema karaglanalou
I agree with Poster 1- what a lovely cinema. Spotless, helpful staff, comfortable seating with plenty of legroom and unrestricted view of the screen. Only complaint - the heating was too high, particularly just before the interval.
Not a Star Wars fan, but wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I enjoyed the film and the excellent visual and sound effects. I am sure the seats vibrated during the high action scenes!
We are not cinemagoers, but will visit this cinema again.

Went to watch the Stars Wars movie last Friday and had a great time, got to say wow to the cinema its really great. Lovely seats great sound was very impressed. TRNC needs investment like this so shall be supporting it by going more often.

Just follow the coast road from Girne, and it's on your right hand side in Karaoğlanoğlu. You can't miss it, as it's painted honey and a dubious shade of lavender. It has a child's ball play area outside.

Re: new cinema karaglanalou
Went last weekend with our son, he loved it.
Staff excellent, surroundings and all facilities excellent.
Only disappointment for me was that they don't have low fat milk so I couldn't have a latte at half time.
I did ask, and maybe they will catch onto this, maybe.
Will definitely be going back, so much better than a download on the TV.

The wife keeps complaining I never listen to a word she says ............. or something like that.
