question for Multimax users and or IPTV users

can I ask you Multimax users can you watch IPTV and also asking regarding HD channels, most of the time without buffering or shuttering. I do understand some times there can be general problems BUT I am asking for most of the time, can you watch most episodes or films all the way.
can you stream films or TV at 720 ( or even 1080 ) most of the time without problems
I already have a provider which is for 4 megs which seemed to be good enough for normal internet use BUT does not seem to manage IPTV,
Multimax says it offers 20 or 50 megs BUT if you really get even halfof that, I think that would be good enough for what I want.

Depends on your package with them. I have the Gold package which gives me speeds of 4meg +, but later in the day this reduces depending on usage. I can watch films (most of the time) without buffering before 4pm and after midnight. Evening TV (peak time) is a hit and miss. Downloading before 4 and after 12 is very good and I can get speeds.
I was caught out with the small print (should have read it before signing up) about Traffic Management https://www.mmcyp.com/en/traffic-management.php ,

Save heavy downloads for off peak times.

If you are using an IP TV set top box during peak periods, remember to turn off or put it in standby as well as your TV when you have finished. Failing to turn off your box may result in the TV box continuing to download content, even though your TV is off!

What I haven't managed to do yet is work out how to get NTV (provided through Multimax) directly on my Smart TV. I can get it through my laptop/tablet and plug into my TV to get it. I guess that I would need a router with built in VPN?

I understand that Multimax regard any speed below 4Mbps as a 'fault', regardless of the time of day (unless you are subject to 'traffic management' of course...)
You should report this, and let them put it right!

do any multimax users use torrents and what is the best download speed you can get, this can be single download or multi added together, the best I get currently is '400' and I hope mulitmax users get better. I use utorrents, which is where I can see the speeds
also do you do speed tests and again whats the best average you get I have a 4 megs service and on tests on a good time I get 4 megs, BUT I understand Multimax offers 20megs and even 50megs in the middle of the night, which is the best time for downloading.
don't get me wrong I feel I am getting a good service and payment for my 4meg service BUT if I can get much higher speeds then I can consider changing

I have the platinum service with multimax and it seems I am constantly phoning them because our test results show very low,and another point is multimax have nothing to do with NTV.

I have the mag 250 box and my connection is mostly good and an average 7 megs,i have platinum service from multimax which cost 1400 tl but I don't watch many films so cant comment,I would say they are quite helpful when there is a problem but as I said before we have a few issues of late which is very annoying but hey ho life goes on

Keith I did report it to them and they said that I am subject to traffic management and this restricts my speeds at peak time.

Just did a speed test (1.13am) and it regsistered 37.48mbps download speed. Impressive for TRNC!
