A recommendation for Estate Agent and Advocate
This is my second attempt at this as KibKom system keeps wanting to verify the connection on cloud.( Appologies to readers as I am having to edit in small bits to get this through)
We had our house/bungalow on the market for 18 months or so.
It was on with about 9 or 10 agents. Most raved about our bungalow in Ozankoy but no buyer could be found.
The one that came up trumps was Kemal from Pars Property. We were on holiday in Belize for a month which is an 8 hour time difference, but Kemal linked up with me on whats app and said he had a potential buyer from Turkey and wanted to make an offer.
Once we accepted the offer he said the deal could be sealed in 2 weeks and thats exactly what happenned.
He got the buyer to intially pay a holding fee but they paid the FULL asking price on signing of the contracts. No waiting period for exchange.
We had improvements done to our property and the details differed slightly from our Kocan. One agent said we would have a problem selling. Well we SOLD IT WITH NO PROBLEM.
The only delay was when the money was paid to our advocat, Mine Konat, who held our Power of Attorney.
The TRNC banks are more wary of paying funds out after a spate of Cyber Fraud in the TRNC so they have in place a lot more security checks. Mine Konat went round to the bank and had a face to face meeting so our money could be paid to us.
My thanks to both PARS and MINE KONAT for getting things done.
I would also like to put a note of thanks to Ian of North Cyprus Property who did his best to advertise on his website.
Best Regards to you all

Glad everything worked out well for you Looseboots, you waited a long time, it was a lovely property. Now you can continue on with your new adventure. Good Luck.

That's really good news Malcolm. So glad it all went well for you eventually.
Looking forward to more of your blog, though I shall miss the lovely lady's picture at the top of your last entry
