Last summer I saw some small canisters by the seasonal bbq items, am practically certain it was in Erulku (roundabout before Ercan coming from Girne on Lefkosa/Famagusta road). Whether they were the size you are looking for, and if they are on sale now is another thing.

I have seen them around....I think the small market on the left (going to the Malpas) near the garage had some.

There is a little old man in one of the back roads up from 1001, I only know it as Tin Pan Alley, who sells gas cannisters of every shape and size

Here they are: -

I'll print these out when I go to find a gas cannister for my blowtorch (a different type) - I'll let you know if I find anything.

You can't see it in the pictures, but reading up on the subject, it seems that there is a notch cut out of the flange on the top of the can, to make sure that they are aligned correctly when inserted.

Sophie's tip about Tin Pan Alley sounds promising!

Walk down the High street from Cafe George to the junction with a jeweller on 3 corners, turn left, 1001 is on the right hand side. Tin Pan alley is a bit further up
