Cold frame or similar
Has anyone got a cold frame or similar in which to keep potted plants until the better weather? Or do you know where I could buy one? 0533 843 9207

Re: Cold frame or similar
I gave up trying to buy here. But İ had an old open bookcase, bought polythene from DİY store, and been in use for a couple of months with great success. All seeds have propagated and cuttings going well.
Weather forecast says warmer and warmer from tomorrow !!!
Will look for wire tubing in the summer and make a better one for next winter
Oh I 'double protected'by cutting plastıc bottles in half, and putting over the pots !!!

Re: Cold frame or similar
learn from my prevıous year's mistakes.............
keep compost moist(NOT soaking wet)
sun is strong even now, once leaves are through, remove cover hottest hours of day,or cover with mesh !!!
AND spread slug killer all around them (pink granuals sold loose in garden centres best) those sold in Mr.Pound not effective !!
label them with permanent marker !!!.......İ misplaced mine on my tomatoes, don't know which is standy uppy or trailing !!!
