Please be wary if you are walking your dogs behind Teos Restaurant on the Alsancak lapta border.

There is a road behind the restaurant that leads past a goat farm.

A dog died on Friday after eating something in that area

I can't seem to pinpoint the location of Teo's - could someone clarify please?

From the coast road go up past Rose Gardens, turn right at the top and head towards the village, turn left just after the petrol station. Follow the road and just after the little supermarket there is a crossroads, turn left there and Teos is about 100 yards on the right. The road where the poison was found is just before Teos , take the right turn into Turkistan Sokak and halfway up is Badem Sokak, it's along that road that a dog and also a fox were found dead.

We spoke with someone yesterday who confirmed that dogs have also been poisoned by Lapta School and Health Centre. The lovely white husky type of dog that was always by the school was not able to be saved but two others made it to the vet in time and are recovering.

Very sad about the big white husky-type, he was gentle and good natured. His little darkbrown, shaggy friend will be lost without him!

May be now is the time for some kind person to take the little dark brown shaggy friend off the streets? Wouldn't that be terrific in a perfect world?
