Chimney Sweep?

Can anyone recommend a chimney sweep please, would be grateful for a telephone number. [we are in Karsiyaka]

I hope it is ok but I would like to 'butt in' to this thread.

How do I know if my chimney needs sweeping ? Is it just a matter of 'after X number of fires' you should have it swept, or is their some 'sign' that would indicate it needs sweeping ? What are the consequences of not getting it swept when it needs such ? Will it catch fire ? How likely is that ?

Again sorry to nonna but butting in, but these questions have been around in my head for a while and this seemed like a reasonable opportunity to ask them.

Depending on the answers I too would like to know if anyone recommend a chimney sweep please , that covers the lapta area.

Erol, sorry, not qualified to help you but thick black smoke from the chimney caused concern! maybe the high winds on Saturday caused a soot fall. Should have mentioned it is a wood burner.
