I am currently in prison just for running my business!! I'm not in Iskele court on 21st March, my other friends are. Myself and Tekin have the appeal court on April 6 in Nicosia.. I hope that they will give us our freedom and our right to have the restaurant. I am counting on your beautiful prayers. Our Restaurant as well as all the other places continues to work. It is not closed. I thank you all.

I agree Cally, prayers are not my thing either, but..........this whole thing is ridiculous. I know all these businesses have always pushed things a bit further than maybe they had permission for, but they did have some permissions, written and verbal and they did pay their taxes.
And now Burhan and Tekin have to spend their days with disgusting people, like the man from Kumyali, who raped a five year old girl repeatedly and who also got the same length sentence, unbelievable!!!
I imagine the lawyers must be very happy!!!!!!!!!!

I think they already have! I hope this is resolved quickly in Burhan's favour and that he can continue to prosper in some way, shape or form.

If Burhan's business operation is the alternative to massive hotel or other large scale developments then it should definitely be the preferred option...

The prison sentence seems particularly harsh and could be seen as an attempt to 'disappear' opposition to large scale development which some bright spark (crook) no-doubt has in mind.

Who knows, the odd prayer can't do any harm and it just might do some good. Stranger things have happened and if Burhan believes, then who are we..........................?

A real travesty of justice. I hope for Burhan's sake justice prevails but I won't hold my breath. The dark side of this small country becomes more apparent by the day.
