English Epaper reporting 5 killed and 76 injured. Dreadful which ever is correct. Very very busy road as well, so they knew what they were doing.

How awful, I do not really do politics , but a Turkish friend of mine told me the Americans are behind these atrocities, Something to do with an agreement signed that expires soon , Turkey is sitting on massive mineral wealth and oil reserves Billions of $ worth and USA are financing the Kurds to destabilize the country.
I suppose a bit like the weapons of mass destruction war in Iraq that did not exist and was really about oil.

It is more than obvious from such conspiracy theorist, unattributable comment, that you 'don't do politics'.
Perhaps you should start.

Re: Explosion in Istanbul Today
It was the 4th item on BBC News at 5:30 GMT - AFTER the arrest of a 'suspect' in the Paris bombing (and some other fairly inconsequential crap).
I think that this shows just how much 'Europe' - or the BBC at least - cares about Turkey...
Appalling.

Johnny Lee, sorry but that is the most ridiculous theory I heve ever heard....why would the Americans be behind the 'atrocities'....what would be the benefit, or the reason for killing innocent people???? Maybe you need to question your friend a bit more.

Totally ridiculous. Turkey has no Oil and gas of any note, and mineral wealth is so limited mainly lignite. JL please research before you talk daft stuff.

Like I said this what I was told buy my Turkish friend and of course with the Americans being responsible for so much war mongering and causing so much unrest and hatred in the world i did wonder.
To the poster who suggested I learn about politics , no thank you , maybe if we could have another Mrs Thatcher , then yes. My view on politics and governments the world over is corruption ,theft on a massive scale and I'm all right jack so lets screw the people who pay our over inflated salary's.

On this occasion, it appears that Kurds (with or without "US financing") are not responsible - or are IS being wrongly blamed as a cover-up....?
