Renewed my today 3 yrs 303tl. Paid by credit card. she didnt want the muhtars letter and didnt want to see my passport just kept the photocopy of the back page.Ready in two to three weeks.

Well done, the only thing I would say is it may take longer than 2 - 3 weeks as it did with myself. It was nearer 8 weeks but still a pretty good process

I always carry the receipt with me the police are quite happy with that.

Photo page of your passport copied 2 photos a form filled in available on the desk by the licence window I had my passport but they didnt want it same as the muhtars letter.Your old licence.

I think it must depend on who is behind the desk, much the same with residency. We went to renew ours three weeks ago and they wanted the whole lot. Passport, copy of the passport page, muhtars letter, old license, application form & fee. I take everything but the kitchen sink to government offices to avoid a wasted journeys. If they don't ask for it fine, if they do I have it handy & ready to produce.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the photos. As Deniz1 says, yes., and they want two. You can get them done a few doors up from the HSB bank.
