Re-cane old chairs?
Hi we have a couple of old bergere chairs on which the cane needs repairing/replacing does anyone know if there is anywhere here that would do this please?
Tried Burhan but they could not help which is a bit strange as they had just done my friends' settees.

Very amusing
Actually, I'm sure that I saw a post which recommended someone who would do the job, but can I find it?
NO!
Someone else might remember though, let's hope!
I'll bet that Dalartokat will be searching through posts now, hoping to beat me!

I knew that you wouldn't be able to resist!
Yes, that was the post!
I did search for 'whicker', but never thought of spelling it like that... It just goes to show
Thank you!

You should go to 'Ronnies Furniture'/La Roka Restaurant - they make the wooden chairs and get them cane covered by a superb craftsman in Lefkosa - not expensive, either.
