I pad problem?

My I pad is behaving very oddly today it will open specific websites i.e. Favourites like Kibkom, Daily Mail or anything I type into the bar but if I try to search something it does not open anything at all & the little circle next to the signal icon does not appear. I have turned it off/on a few times but it has made no difference.
Any ideas anyone please?

I have been having problems to as it appears many have. Seems to have been since the last IOS update 9.3.

Have a look at this, think Apple will need to get a new release out pretty sharpish. I have started using Google today and abandoned Safari for now.

Thanks guys will have to wait until I can use himself's tablet so I can look at the instructions will report back later.
