Hi. Just wondering if there are any Slimming World meetings in Northern Cyprus ?

No. There is a slimming class but has nothing to do with the official Slimming World although I believe they use the books.

Hi - there is a Cyprus Slimming World meeting at The Loge Catalkoy on Saturdays at 10.00am - the lady who runs it, Cathy, used to be a SW rep/leader in the UK. They do use the SW plan (albeit sometimes tweaked to take account of TRNC products) and have the magazines and books plus the eating plans. There are also a few other members who atten who used to be members in the UK.
There is another one, run by Cathy , on the West side i think it is on a Thursday at O'Live bar but am not sure of the time.

Its TRNC Slimmers World - cannot use the name Slimming World. Yes at Olive Bar in Alsancak. 11,30am - 1.00pm. Thursday. They use Slimming World books mostly donated by members or sent by people in UK. 50tl enrolment fee I believe and then 20tl per session.

Thanks for your replies. Alsancak is nearest to me so will come along in May when I am out in Cyprus for a couple of months.

Robey If you are a member of Slimming World in the UK and get weighed in TRNC it can't be recorded in your book as it is not an official SW group it is not recognised by Slimming World, even though Cathy was a consultant in the UK she is not registered and the books should not be used.
