Heightened Traffic Police Activity

Apparently this week is something called 'Police Week'. During this week they are out in large numbers with speed traps, checkpoints etc.

So beware!

Hopefully they will pull over and check some of the multitude of unregistered/un-taxed/un-MOT'd/uninsured vehicles and impose the fines or confiscate the vehicles.
Needs a major clean up!

But not if you are related in any way to the police officer who pulls you over..... wife's second cousins need not worry... it's a joke.

I think you'll find that it's Police Week on the Greek side, not here. Stand to be corrected.

Shame its not on this side but then the bar trade would suffer too much I expect. If it was on this side then its probably because they have not been paid yet!!
