Filmon disappeared
Had filmon for years now with a little black box thingy. Off we went o visit the family for 1 month in UK, turning off tv & unplugging the lot from the wall
as usual. Got back Sunday plugged it all back in to find Filmon has GONE!! never happened before. Help please how do we get it back?? We have tried but are not experts.

If it's an Android box, then somewhere on the Home screen there should be a symbol that looks like a square consisting of 9 dots. If you click on that , it will take you to a screen showing ALL of your 'apps' - if filmon is there, 'drag' it onto your Home screen (you may need to change the remote control function to 'mouse' or something in order to achieve this...)
If that doesn't work, go to 'Google play', search for filmon, and install it from there.
Good luck!

No, gilly is talking about the filmon 'app' on an android box (it's just a different way of accessing filmon - same programmes!).genghis wrote:Assume we're talking about filmon.com. I watch on my laptop and it's OK
There's definitely nothing wrong with filmon itself - it's just her android box playing up...

I wouldn't be too quick to give it the 'heave-ho', but it does sound as though you need someone to look at it - and don't look at me! I'm strictly an 'armchair technician' these daysgilly123 wrote:Done all that thanks keith, gives an error message & wont install, maybe our box is b******d !! If you do need one, then Paul Aldred at Satellite Cyprus does stock some perfectly good boxes, which are already configured to do the job, complete with instructions!
He is noted for his excellent customer / after sales service, and has a local mobile number that you can ring if you get into difficulty.
The cheapest boxes that he sells are fine for watching TV - I bought one myself, just out of curiosity, and I can't see any difference in performance between that, and one for which I paid twice as much!
Of course, you can get them cheaper in the UK - ebay and all that, but he does give them a proper guarantee, and he's handy if you have any issues...

Re: Filmon disappeared
I wouldn't be too worried about the App, but if you need to use it then. Go to the play store on your Android box and install it directly.
Depending on how you have your box configured you have several options to access film on.
If the box isn't configured the easy option would be to again go to the play store and type kodi into the search function.
This will bring up a list of apps, the basically all do the same ( don't pay for the App ) choose the one you want, try it, if you don't like it reset your box and try another till you find one you like.
I like the 'complete kodi set up wizzard' you can use different skins (set ups).
If you need any further help send me a PM.
